Due to the pandemic, economic challenges, and societal upheaval, the stakes have never been higher for our upcoming legislative session. AC-REP formed the Business Advocacy & Public Policy Committee in 2020 to serve as an active voice for business and impact legislation on critical issues such as transportation/mobility, education and workforce development, healthcare, housing, and energy. In the 2021 legislative session, the Colorado General Assembly will help set a path through legislation for our state as we recover from the effects of the pandemic and as we work together to strengthen our economy.

The Legislative Breakfast is presented by AC-REP Annual Sponsors Great Western Petroleum, Xcel Energy, and United Power and Event Sponsor, Comcast. There is no cost for AC-REP members; the charge for non-members is $25. Those interested in attending can register online at https://bit.ly/2021Leg

In addition, AC-REP is pleased to announce it has contracted with Sewald Hanfling Public Affairs to serve as its legislative lobbying firm for 2021. The firm has been tasked with providing strategic advocacy and a lobbying engagement plan designed to achieve AC-REP’s legislative goals and support business development objectives.

“Sewald Hanfling is honored to support AC-REP and ensure Adams County remains economically vital and vibrant now and into the future. We look forward to working with the board, Bo Martinez, and the entire AC-REP team to help drive their legislative agenda this upcoming session,” said R.D.
