AC-REP to Showcase Adams County’s Business Advantages & Opportunities During Fourth-Annual Site Selection Summit

WESTMINSTER, Colo., July 7, 2021 –
Adams County Regional Economic Partnership (AC-REP) is gearing up for its fourth-annual Site Selection Summit focused on promoting the business advantages of Adams County, Colorado. The three-day Summit takes place July 20-22, 2021 and will bring national site selection experts to the area for tours and meetings with business and economic development leaders.

The visiting consultants—experts who represent Fortune 500 companies in their relocation and expansion efforts—also specialize in Adams County’s expanding industries, including aerospace/aviation; bio/life sciences; food, agribusiness & beverage; energy; and advanced manufacturing.

Here’s a preview of the site consultants’ agenda during their three-day familiarization tour of Adams County:

  • A briefing at Colorado Air and Space Port (CASP) along with a tour of Reaction Engines, a UK-headquartered aerospace company conducting high-temperature airflow testing at CASP.
  • A visit to Fitzsimons Innovation Community and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus for a panel discussion with leading researchers and a campus tour.
  • Lunch and presentations at Stanley Marketplace in Aurora, where they’ll get an up-close look at Adams County’s cultural scene and the importance of creative industries.
  • An Advanced Industries Panel and tour at TruStile Doors’ new 300,000-square-foot manufacturing center in Unincorporated Adams County.
  • An evening dinner hosted by Adams County at Riverdale Regional Park to share the concept and the importance of placemaking in community economic development.
