Area Companies Can Begin EZ Pre-Certification Process in October for 2022

October 4, 2021 – The Colorado Enterprise Zone (EZ) Program is designed to promote a business-friendly environment in economically distressed areas of the state. The Program provides state income tax credits to incentivize businesses to locate and develop in designated areas under the program. AC-REP administers the program in Adams County!

Area companies can begin the pre-certification process for 2022 by following the steps below:

  1. Does my business qualify? Check online for a map & address search to determine if your business is in a qualified EZ.
  2. Which tax credits are available to my business? Check online to learn about the various tax credits available to businesses located in an EZ.
  3. Apply and get certified online. Businesses in the EZ must apply online and be precertified annually to claim tax credits.
  4. Let us help you through the process! If you have questions, contact Erin Krueger or call 720.758.8384.
