Energy Future For All.
Chevron has operated in Colorado on the Western Slope since the early 20th century. The company’s purchase of Noble Energy now enables Chevron to participate in the Denver-Julesburg (DJ) basin, combining the values, community focus, and advanced skills of both companies.
In 1879, a group of explorers and merchants established the Pacific Coast Oil Co which, through consolidation with Iowa Standard, became Standard Oil Co. Over the next 115 years, the company expanded organically and through acquisition to become the second-largest oil and gas producer in the U.S. with upstream, mid-stream, and downstream assets across the globe.
Chevron works to provide the energy that enables human progress around the world, and it strives to be the global energy company most admired for its people, partnership, and performance.
