Westminster, Colo. – January 9, 2020 – Adams County Economic Development (ACED) is proud to announce newly elected and appointed members to the Executive Committee of its Board of Directors.
ACED Executive Committee members approve the organization’s work plan and support its vision to be a powerful regional catalyst for building partnerships across diverse economic sectors in Adams County, Colorado. Members of the Executive Committee meet once per month, with many members leading ACED’s industry- and policy-focused committees.
The ACED Board of Directors approved the following members as Executive Committee officers:
- Chair, Tom Stone, Adolfson & Peterson Construction
- Vice Chair, Susan Fakharzadeh, Great Western Petroleum
- Secretary, Carolynne White, Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck
Board Chair Tom Stone has appointed Mayor Meredith Leighty of Northglenn (representing area mayors) and Larry (Butch) Fiore of Fiore & Sons, Inc. to serve on the Executive Committee. The Board of Adams County Commissioners designated Commissioners Eva Henry and Emma Pinter to participate on the Committee. Also, Past Chair Rita Connerly of Fairfield & Woods and Josh Shipman of The Bromley Companies, LLC will continue their roles on the Committee.

ACED expresses its appreciation to out-going Executive Committee members Ron Von Lembke, United Water and Sanitation District; Travis Hudson, BKD CPAs & Advisors; Adams County Commissioner Mary Hodge; former Thornton Mayor Heidi Williams; and former Brighton Mayor Ken Kreutzer.
Under the guidance of the Executive Committee, ACED unveiled a new logo and website in 2019, marking enhanced vision and branding to differentiate Adams County, Colorado as a business location where growth, innovation, and infrastructure create extensive momentum for companies and workers.
In 2020, ACED will celebrate a major new expansion in the County when TruStile Doors opens its 260,000-square-foot headquarters, manufacturing, and warehouse space in Unincorporated Adams County. The leading U.S. manufacturer of quality architectural doors, TruStile will invest and grow its skilled workforce at the site, eventually adding as many as 262 new jobs.
